MILLENNIUM CAIRN

Situated at the hall end of the village stands our Millennium Cairn.

This cairn was erected to commemorate the year 2000.  The villagers of Tayvallich brought along their own stones, which were built into the structure by Mr Duncan MacLullich (as pictured above).  If you didn’t take a stone, you’re too late now!!

Inserted in the cairn is a time capsule, supplied by the local primary school children, which incorporates the items they think typified Tayvallich in the year 2000.

It is going to be landscaped around the site and a bench to rest your weary legs on will be supplied.
