CARRICK HOUSE

Available to let all year, Carrick House provides accommodation for 6 to 8 people in a prime position overlooking Tayvallich bay, and only 100 metres (approx) from the Tayvallich Inn. It has an enclosed garden (mainly lawn) and ample parking, including a garage.

The house is in an ideal situation for the pursuit of all water sports, particularly dinghy sailing; bird watching; painting; fishing; cycling and walking. The islands of Jura, Islay, Gigha, and Mull are within easy reach.  

Accommodation for 6 to 8 comprises:

Sitting Room (open Baxi fire) with double sofa-bed

Dining Room (crockery and cutlery for 10)

Kitchen (electric cooker, fridge, fitted units, spin dryer; stainless steel pans)

Bathroom (bath, shower, hand basin, wc, heated towel rail)

Upstairs: 3 Bedrooms (1 double bed; 2 single beds; 2 full size bunks)

Duvets (2 double and 4 single), pillows, blankets, bedspreads, electric blanket are provided; also cot and high chair.

 Visitors must provide their own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, and towels.

Heating

There are night store heaters, and portable electric fires, together with open fires. Water is heated by electric emersion heater.

Equipment

A telephone is installed for in-coming calls only.

There is no television, washing machine, or dishwasher.

Dogs are welcome.
